my story
Hi everyone! My name is Tohar Or-Grimes. My name is Hebrew and means pure fierce light! I moved to the US at the age of 13, to Portland Oregon. I met my husband Jackson my senior year of high school and together we moved to CO during the pandemic, and we have a sweet baby daughter we welcomed in February 2026:)
I’ve always loved photography and experimented with it even as a child but never imagined I would one day make it into a career- and oh how happy I am that I did! I started my photography business shortly after my Jackson and I got married and I absolutely fell in love with the process of capturing all the beautiful details of a wedding day. Then as I became a birth doula I fell in love with capturing the raw and beauty of childbirth and now I get to capture people’s most exciting moments in life! I am truly so blessed to witness all this beauty.

Favorite music: I love Tyler Childers and 70s pop rock.
Favorite shows: Gilmore Girls always plays on repeat in my house, but I also enjoy How I met Your Mother, and my recent obsession is Bridgerton!
Favorite movies: I love Mama Mia (I like the second more than the first- unpopular opinion), Pitch Perfect, and I have been a fan of Twilight since I was 9 (I even had a fan account on Instagram a long time ago- very embarrassing)
Hobbies: besides photographing people and editing I have many other things I enjoy! I love cooking and baking, crochet playing music and singing, swimming in natural waters, playing board games, and gardening.
Some more random facts: My first language is Hebrew, meaning I think and dream in both English and Hebrew. I am a proud pants hater (though I will occasionally wear them if super comfy) but I much prefer skirts and dresses. I love natural medicine and live a very holistic life style. I have an herb and vegetable garden and my plants are my babies. I want to one day grow all my own food and raise some cows, chickens and sheep!

do you travel for photoshoots?
Yes! I am based in Colorado but love to travel to local and international destinations. Travel fees vary depending on location.
how many photos will we receive?
There is no limit or minimum as it depends on the shoot, but for portraits you can expect between 60-100 photos, for weddings and elopements between 250-600 photos.
how do i book a session?
It's simple! Fill in our inquiry form, and I will get back to you within 48 hours. For weddings we will schedule a consultation to discuss your goals and budgets, for portraits we will communicate either via email or text!
do you require a deposit?
do you offer prints or albums?
what should i wear to my photoshoot?
Yes, I require a deposit and I have three different payment plans to accommodate your needs and comfort!
Yes! Once you get your full gallery you will have an opportunity to order prints and albums directly online!
It all depends on what you want! Once you fill an inquiry form we will discuss together what you are envisioning for your photos, create a Pinterest board together and I can help you decide on an outfit that will compliment your goal!
